Pricing questions
How much does aiperson cost?
Nothing today. Billing is not switched on, no feature is gated, and we do not ask for a card. When billing does start there will be two plans you can buy: Free at $0 (everything local) and Pro at $19 a month, or $190 a year. Teams is a conversation, not a price — we are not selling it this cycle.
What is the Founding Members programme?
An annual plan, capped at 100 members, priced below Pro. It is our way of thanking the people who back the product before it is finished. It will be announced to the waitlist first — join the queue below and you will hear about it before anyone else. There is no countdown and no artificial urgency: when the 100 are taken, it closes.
What do I get on the Free plan?
Everything that runs locally: your persona — voice, values, conventions and refusals — signed and kept in a git repo you own; a local corpus with hybrid search; all 13 editor integrations over MCP; and browser capture across 21 cloud chat surfaces, which you enable per surface in the extension popup. What will Pro add over Free?
Pro is where cloud sync and cloud-side synthesis will be billed: your persona and corpus reconciled across every device, browser capture that persists cross-device, and your corpus distilled nightly into a daily brief and proposal review. Being straight about the present tense: none of that is gated today — everyone using the product has it. Pro is what we will charge for, not a wall you are currently behind.
Is the Free plan a trial?
No. Free is a complete local-first product you can use indefinitely. Your persona and corpus work, every editor integration works, and you can export at any time.
Do you store my data?
Your persona lives in a git repo you own and your corpus is a SQLite file on your machine, which stays there. The relay does hold what your enabled capture surfaces send it: the browser extension and the IDE observers post their captures to us, which is how your memory reaches your other devices. Each harvester decides whether its events may be mirrored — config snapshots, screenshots and ChatGPT imports never are. The full detail is in the privacy docs.
What does it cost to keep using my own AI?
Nothing changes about your AI subscriptions. aiperson sits above your assistants rather than replacing them — keep your Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or local model. aiperson is the shared memory beneath them.
